Refugee & Humanitarian Work

Current and Future Projects

We are expanding our focus. As we continue to work on building capacity to decrease maternal mortality through education, we are also responding to the catastrophic health needs of refugees and persons impacted by natural or human-made disasters.  The goal is to begin bridging humanitarian work and development projects to ensure continuity and strength of quality care for women and children.  Safe Passage to Motherhood will strategize development of educational programming through Home Based Life Saving Skills (HBLSS)  to bridge emergency care our clinicians provide to long-term care offered by trained health workers from impacted communities.
